Bruce Albert Peterson was born in La Grande, Oregon to his parents, Lyle Albert Peterson and Marjorie May Peterson, on December 7, 1958. Since moving to Everett, Washington at age 21, he has considered Everett his home. He is a graduate of Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas where he played basketball, delivered newspapers and drove classic cars. He served a two year church mission in Argentina. Shortly after returning home, he met and fell in love with Ann Duce. They were married on April 27, 1982 in the Seattle Temple. Bruce graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, then went on to complete law school at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. He began his career as an attorney in 1989 and has maintained his practice until his death. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, fishing and vacationing at the family cabin in Idaho. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ann; his son, Mitch (Emilie) Peterson; his son, Russell (Marlies) Peterson and their children, Ty and Max; his daughter, Rachel (Ryan) Leonard and their children, Maeve and Gwen; and his son, Alex. He is also survived by his father, Lyle Peterson; his five sisters, Linda, Marsha, Carol, Sandy and Christina; his brother, Erik; and numerous nieces and nephews.
