Anna passed away February 27, 2025, of complications from pneumonia and dementia, 5 months and 24 days after losing her husband of 69 years. Her family finds peace in knowing they are together again.
Born Anna Marie Reddeman on 4/18/1937, the fourth of six kids to Frank and Marie Reddeman at home, in Granite Falls WA. After little brothers Frank Jr. and John’s births, the family relocated to Lake Stevens, WA. Anna made lifelong friendships in Lake Stevens and graduated from Lake Stevens High School Class of 1955.
Anna married the love of her life, Channing Lewis (Lew) on 6/25/1955, they settled in Lake Stevens and then came the kids- her greatest accomplishments- Kevin, Kimberly and Korey. Anna stayed home during these years and raised the kids. She entered the workforce later in life, once the kids were older. Anna worked at Frederick and Nelson, then the GTE/Verizon phone mart at the Everett Mall, her perfect job! There, she greeted, chatted up and sold award winning amounts of telephone product. Anna received numerous awards, trips and accolades from GTE/Verizon before officially retiring.
Traveling, hosting holidays, gardening and grandkids then filled her days.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband Channing, her parents Frank Sr. and Marie Reddeman, her sisters LaVerta Weidemeyer, Phyllis Verlinda and Patricia Taklo. She is survived by both brothers; Frank Jr. & John Reddeman, her three children Kevin (Brenda) Lewis, Kim (Bob) Hall and Korey Lewis. Also surviving are five grandkids, and four very special great granddaughters.
A memorial for Anna will be held at Noon on Thursday March 27, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home & Cemetery; 4504 Broadway in Everett with a reception to follow.
