Angelita (Angie) was born December 7, 1928, in Big Springs, Texas, and grew up In Laredo, TX, with her Aunt Juanita, Pappa Jessie, and cousins Jessie, Richard, Marina, and Stephen Roddy Applewhite, who she considered her brothers and sister. In 1945, she married James Terry Sr. and moved around the country as he served in the military. During that time, she had five boys and one girl: Ray, James Jr (Skeeter), Daniel, Donna, Richard, and Dale Terry. Then, she settled in Mountlake Terrace, WA, until her separation from James Terry.
Later, she would go on to work and retire from Boeing. During her years at Boeing, she bought her home in Marysville, WA, in June 1978, where she resided until her passing. She met and married Alexander Moir in 1983, Started her Floral company Flora, and built many memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
After retiring from Boeing, Angelita enjoyed traveling, dancing, climbing trees, hiking, camping at thousand trails, making flower arrangements, and having many adventures around the country with her husband and family.
When Angelita arrived in heaven, she was greeted by her husband Alexander. son Daniel, and Mother Eloise as well as many aunts, uncles, a brother, cousins and friends.
She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as many family in Texas.
Angie was a beloved Wife, Mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, and dear friend to many. All her friends and family will miss her dearly but look forward to seeing her in heaven again one day as her faith and love for Jesus Christ permeated her whole life.
A viewing for Angelita will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 12:00 to 12:30 pm, followed by a service to celebrate her life from 12:30 to 1:15 pm, the service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203. Graveside services at 1:30 pm at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE, Everett Mall Way, Everett WA 98208. Feel free to send flower to the funeral home as Angelita loved flowers.
