William Newman Shoulders

He was a retired truck driver and loved his profession. Bill enjoyed antique tractors and woodworking. He loved his dog, Tigger.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Fran; his parents, Climon and Mary Lou; brother Tommy Shoulders; sister, Gayle Johnson; and nephew, Jarred Ashmore.

He is survived by his brother, Bobby Shoulders (Janet) of Slaughters, KY; caregiver, Pamela Hyndman of Newburgh, IN; nieces and nephews, Whitney and Darren Spainhoward and children, Brandon and Kim Shoulders and children, and Bo and Ashley Hackney and children.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ken Rager with graveside service and burial at 1:30 PM at Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY. Friends may visit Friday, 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
