William “Frank” Hale, 84, of Evansville, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020, at North Park Nursing Center. He was born October 10, 1935, in Francisco, Indiana, to the late Kenneth H. and Wanda Mae (Harper) Hale.
Frank enjoyed playing bingo and crossword puzzles. He loved daily trips to McDonalds with his friends. He was a true man of integrity who was devoted to his wife and family. Frank had an incredible sense of humor and was ready with a joke and loved to tease.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Hale; brother, Kenneth “Butch” Hale; and sister, Verna Williams.
Frank is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley (Gore) Hale; son, Brett Hale (Kelly); grandchildren, Morgan Hale, Erica VanLeer (Logan), Rachel Hale, Drew Hale, Abby Hale, Stephanie Hale and Natalie Hale; sisters, Arlene Sharpe and Pam Coberly (Rob); and one great grandson, Carson.
There will be visitation only on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Alexander North Chapel from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at Alexander Memorial Park.
