Vivian M. Vaughn
January 20, 1927 – March 5, 2020
IN THE CARE OF
Vivian Marie Vaughn, 93, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born January 20, 1927 in Evansville to the late Clarence and Esther Poole.
She was a very quiet and proud woman who loved her family above all. Vivian fostered over 57 children from 1945-1965. She collected cookie jars and was a wonderful seamstress who made many quilts for her family.
Vivian is survived by son, Rick Vaughn (Leah), Robert Vaughn (Kathy) and Joseph Vaughn (Martha); grandchildren, Sean, Travis, Jeremy, Chris, Eric, Nathan, Zachary, Sarah and Sam, as well as their spouses, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
