Virginia Lee Moore

Virginia was a full time homemaker, raising 6 children with the help of her husband John, who passed in 2008. Virginia loved her big family, which over the years included many grandchildren, and most recently 2 very special great-great grandchildren. Virginia was a member of the Harwood Baptist Church. She always amazed her family with her sharp memory and many stories from years ago.

In addition to her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Elsie Norrick; brothers Otis Jr., Harold, Lester, Jimmy and Wayne; and grandson, Craig Moore.

She is survived by her six children, Betty Moore Tabert (Chuck), Michael Keith Moore (Carol), Gary Moore (DeeAnn), Sandy Moore Eickhoff ( Terry), Janice Moore Hayden and Barry Moore (Donna), 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, sisters, Dolores Adams. Doris Waters, Rose Bell and Shelba Bell, and sister-in-law Esther Norrick, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 19, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Nick Clark, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
