Tammy Sue Gold, 59, of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital with loved ones by her side. She was born on October 10, 1962 in Evansville, Indiana to the late John Richard and Loral Venice (Yancey) Calhoun.
She was an avid music lover, hard working waitress whom always put her family first. She never met a stranger and enjoyed volunteering at the local homeless shelters. Tammy had a big heart of gold and was known as "Mizz Gold"! She had a spicy personality and loved her killer kitty "Hippie Hendrix".
Tammy is survived by her daughter, Loral Calhoun; two grandchildren, Alyssa Fletcher and Xavier Calhoun; sister, Shirley P'pool (Roger); brother, Kevin Calhoun (Tara) and family; niece, Maya Deisher and her children; several other family members, and loved by many special friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; baby brother, Ricky Calhoun; and favorite pet of her life, Jasper Buggs.
Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Kevin Calhoun officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
