Susan Kay Jaques, 76, of Evansville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at the Heritage Center. She was born on November 5, 1943 in Princeton, Indiana, to the late Elden and Eunice Ann (French) Hayden.
Susan loved spending time with her grandchildren; playing with her dogs, which she had several over the years, and sitting with her blanket by the fireplace. She also enjoyed eating chocolate, playing slot machines at the casino and listening to her favorite musicians, Elvis and Luke Bryan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Jaques in 1988; and sister, Marcia Hayden Stoops.
Susan is survived by her son, Matthew Jaques (Julie); sister, Elaine Crooks (Pamela Deskin); grandchildren, Madison, Isaac, and Eli; brother-in-law, Gene Stoops; niece, Colleen Callahan; nephew, Dennis Stoops and several great nieces and nephews.
A Private Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020, officiated by Pastor Doug Heiman, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel.
