Sue Ann Kuykendoll, age 84, of Evansville, Indiana passed away surrounded by family at Linda E. White Hospice on Friday, July 21, 2023. She was born on April 16, 1939 in Carrsville, KY to the late Henry Leonard and Mary Gladys (Myrick) Noel.
With a natural green thumb, she took great pleasure in tending to her flowerbeds. Sue's impeccable home was a haven of comfort and warmth, where every corner reflected her meticulous nature. The attention to detail she poured into her surroundings demonstrated her deep appreciation for order and beauty. Beyond her household talents, Sue was a talented cook. Her culinary creations were nothing short of extraordinary, and her family and friends were treated to delicious meals filled with love and care.
Family was at the center of Sue's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she showered her family with unconditional love, support, and wisdom. Her nurturing presence will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren, who carry her legacy in their hearts. Sue's dedication to her work was evident in her job at Libs Candies, where she worked at the Washington Square Mall location. Her commitment and reliability were valued by her colleagues and customers alike.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack Donald Kuykendoll; daughter, Deborah Lynn; son, Steven (Emily) Kuykendoll; grandsons, Todd Russell, Kyle and Joel (Kristen Adler) Kuykendoll; several great grandchildren; brother, James (Carol) Noel; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may gather at Alexander East Chapel on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again the following day at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am. Final resting place will follow the services at Park Lawn Cemetery.
