Steve was a member of Day Spring Church of God of Prophecy. He served as Clerk and Treasurer and was part of the Praise Team. Steve loved fishing, second hand stores, landscaping and his dogs and cats. He served in the US Navy during Desert Storm working in medical.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred (Richardson) Dunbar.
Steve is survived by his sister, Traci DeKemper (Chris) of Henderson, KY; brother, Duane Dunbar (Pam) of Los Angeles, CA; best friend and Pastor, Greg Lindsey (Lori) and their children, Seth and Jayden of Henderson, KY and nephews and niece, Mason Dunbar, Chase DeKemper, and Taylor DeKemper.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Day Spring Church of God of Prophecy, 3001 Hwy 60 E, Henderson, KY 42420, officiated by Pastor Greg Lindsey. His nephew Mason Dunbar will play a tribute song on guitar for him.
