Stephen W. Mattingly Sr.

Stephen Mattingly, 75, of Evansville passed away Saturday August 12, 2023. He was born March 30, 1948 in Evansville to the late William and Mary (Loesch) Mattingly. He was a member of the Evansville Athletic Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Stephen was very loud and proud of all of his grandchildren. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marilyn Herren, Patty Black, and Mary Jo Slinker; brother, Alan Mattingly, brother in law, Paul Herren and beloved dog, Sadie. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Tungate (Keith); son, Steve Mattingly, Jr.; sister, Linda Malvino (Bob); brother, Bill Mattingly; grandchildren, Dana, Sydney, Hannah, Kameryn, Kirstyn, Tre, David, Sierra, and Candice, and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday August 17, 2023 at Alexander North Chapel, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
