He loved his work and had been with Union Local 561 since he was 17. Stephen was a great dad and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Norman Eugene Franks.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry (Melton) Franks; daughters, Shena and Shawna Franks; grandson, Skyler Franks McPhee; granddaughters, Summer and MacKenzie McPhee; mother, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Day of Memory for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at their home from noon to 5:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Fifth Third Bank in the memory of Stephen Scott Franks.
