Skip Van Vleet, 50, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Deaconess VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He was born September 28, 1964, in Mt. Carmel, IL, to Herbert Van Vleet and Hazel Allen.
He worked for Fairmont Supply Co., Shamrock Engineering, Westside Automation, and Champion Laboratories.
Skip was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bea and Eddy Miller; uncles, Charlie (Janet) Van Vleet and Don Lynch; and aunt, Margaret Ellen Van Vleet.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Mark Van Vleet, C. (Jen) Van Vleet, and Ken Carter; sisters, Cathy (Darren) Cole and Pam (Chuck) Warren; nine nephews; and two nieces.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Methodist Temple, 2109 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Stephen Beutler.
