Shelvia “Jean” Stewart, 85, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on November 20, 1937, in Richwood, West Virginia to the late Earl V. and Amanda J. (Mullins) Burrows.
Shelvia retired from Kodak. She loved to cook and loved playing the ukulele
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brothers, James and Donald Burrows.
Shelvia is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Mark) Killebrew, Rebecca Knight, Sherry Stewart, and Susie Stewart all of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brothers, William Burrows of Fairmont, WV and Russell Burrows of Windsor, CO.
Private services will be held. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
