Shelby Carol Small

Shelby graduated in 1955 from F.J. Reitz High School and was a member of Blue Grass Methodist Church for over 50 years. Shelby retired from Fifth Third Bank after over 40 years of service. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, church functions, quilting, family gatherings, flowers, and Grandma Day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Donnie” Small; brother, Glen McCutchan; and son, Daniel Duane Small.

Shelby is survived by her sons, Dean Edward Small (Shell) and David Alan Small (Cindi); 4 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew; sisters-in-law, Linda Betz, Roxanna Smolowitz, and Barbara McCutchan; and besties, Carol Sue and Sharon.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday June 21, 2024 at Blue Grass Chapel Campus, 14240 Petersburg Rd. Evansville, IN 47725 officiated by Pastor Doug Heiman, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at church.
