Scott earned his Undergraduate degree at Oakland City University and Master’s degree at the University of Evansville and SIU in Carbondale. He retired in 1992 as a teacher of Math and Physics for 34 years. After retirement, he started selling Real Estate and then obtained his Broker’s license. He loved gardening, planting the seeds, and watching them grow. Scott enjoyed reading and especially Westerns. He was an avid IU Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Scott played basketball in high school and college. He attended Simpson United Methodist Church and was a member and Deacon of Owensville General Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Scott is survived by his wife of 68 years, Kathryn (Overton) St. Clair; daughter, Susan Burke (Don); son, Scott T. St. Clair, Jr. (Tina); grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Lexi and Michael; two great grandchildren; and sister, Wanda Erwin.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois, officiated by Pastor Kenny Armitage, with burial in Blythe Chapel Cemetery, Owensville, IN.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
