Sarah Richardt Ingle

Sarah Richardt Ingle, age 100, widow of William Davidson Ingle Jr., passed away on July 28, 2017 at her home at La Vida del Mar, Solana Beach, California.

A native of Evansville, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Tweedall) Richardt. She graduated from Stringtown School, Central High School, and with honors from the University of Illinois where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

She was active in the community as a board member of the Evansville Day School, the

Evansville Museum Guild, the Evansville Rehabilitation Center, the Girl Scouts of the United States and the League of Women Voters.

Mrs. Ingle is survived by her daughter, Robin Ingle Comer (William) of Rancho Santa Fe, CA and her son, William Davidson Ingle III (Katy) of Glenview, IL; grandchildren, Stuart Ingle Comer of New York City and Elizabeth Hadley Comer of California; great grandchild, Desmond Cassidy of Los Angeles, CA.

The visitation will be at Alexander Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, Evansville, IN 47711 from 3-5 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Private graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, officiated by Fr. Ted Tempel.
