Ronnie W Mullis

Ronnie Wayne Mullis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and brother in law went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2022. Ronnie was born to the late Hazel and William Mullis in Winter Haven, Florida on January 8, 1957. Ronnie grew up in the Howell area of Evansville, IN and was a graduate of Reitz High School in 1975. As a child, Ronnie helped his father lay floor covering. Ronnie continued his career in the floor covering trade for 50 years. Besides working, Ronnie had many hobbies that included fishing, gardening, and, traveling with his wife. Ronnie enjoyed going to Reitz games and loved sitting to rehash stories of his childhood with his family. He was proud of all of his family. His biggest pride and joy was spending time with his grandchildren, jumping on the trampoline, playing monster, cooking and playing monster trucks. Ronnie was a faithful servant and enjoyed listening to church sermons and music. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jo Ann (Armstrong); son, Brett Mullis (Erin); grandchildren, Paige, Vanessa, Lucy and Barrett; brother, Larry Mullis (Brenda); sister, Wendy Shofner (John); brother in law, Terry Armstrong (Kathleen); sister in law, Karen Buente, and many nieces and nephews. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Donnie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Tyrone Edwards. Family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
