Ron Paul Barclay, 68, of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away on August 19, 2024. He was born on September 8, 1955 in Marion Indiana to the late Robert Paul Barclay and Betty J. (Oglesby) Barclay.
He grew up in Mt. Vernon and graduated in 1974 from Mt. Vernon Senior High School. Ron worked at General Electric/Sabic and retired after 44 years. He enjoyed camping and horses, cats, landscaping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his life partner of 20 years, Debbi Carr; daughter, Rhona (Barclay) Doerner and her husband Matthew, grandchildren, Noble, Matheson, and Sawyer Mae Doerner; son, Casey Barclay; siblings, Vicki Mayes and her husband Tom, Lynda Reich and her husband Frank, and his twin brother, Robbie Barclay; nieces Nikkole and Tara; and nephew, Nicholas.
Graveside services will be private.
