Bob was a strong Christian man who was a faithful church attender and supporter. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. After graduating from Central High School in 1956, he joined the US Army. Bob worked at Sam Day's Grocery and owned the Cynthiana Locker Plant and Williams and Williams Painting. He also drove school bus #56 for 33 years for the EVSC. Bob was a car show enthusiast and won many trophies with his love, his '51 Mercury. He was a member of the Road Knights and enjoyed fishing and crafts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 61 years, Beverly Ann (McCormick) Williams, and son, Allen Williams.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Frieda Kaiser (David); son, Rob Williams, Jr.; daughter, Julie Staples (Doug); son, Richie Williams; daughter, Tricia Cyr (Paul); daughter, Cory Toro (J.); grandchildren, Kegan Kaiser (Katie), Katie Kaiser, Claudia Hulsey (Matthew), Amanda Lynn, Danielle Johnson (Jay), Brittany Hester (Dustin), Kasey Reidford (Kyle), Trey Staples (Sydney), Aric Williams, Tara Williams, Ashli Rhoads (Shaun), Courtney Cyr, Ian Cyr, Landon Cyr, Timothy Toro (Zoe), Austin Toro (Alexandria), and Trinity Toro; great grandchildren, Reaghan Hulsey, Ty Johnson, Remington Johnson, Lucy Johnson, Boston Johnson, Ava Staples, Gradey Lynn, Emsley Lynn, Lily Hester, Hunter Hester, Madison Reidford, Porter Rhoads, Ruby Rhoads; sister, Adeline Ashby and brother, Henry Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor J. Jason Toro, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
