He retired as an Electrician with IBEW 16 after 42 years of service and had served as President and Assistant Business Agent.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy Veeck; son, Scott (Kathy) Veeck of Wadesville; grandson, Jeb Allan Veeck of Wadesville; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2011, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street, and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to any favorite charity.
