Robert "Bob" Riggs

Robert “Bob” Riggs, 96, of Evansville, IN, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Parkview Care Center with his family at his side. He was born February 10, 1920, in Darmstadt, IN. Bob was a lifetime member of Centenary United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Local 181- Operating Engineers Union. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma (Rommel) Riggs, brothers, Charles, Leroy, a sister, Helen Stofft. Bob is survived by daughters, Judy (Keith) Omer, Linda (Bob) Ungetheim, son Gary (Terri) Riggs; brother, Lloyd Riggs. Bob loved his six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. His greatest love was his family. A special thank you to Parkview Care Center for their caring support in his later years. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Danny Walker, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday and 10:00 AM Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.
