He was a 1957 graduate of Central High School. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from the US Air Force in 1979 after 20 years. He then was employed for Lang Corporation for 20 years. He enjoyed painting.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Laddy Crabtree; and brother, “Sonny” Crabtree.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Tyonne Marie Crabtree; sons, Bobby (Karen) Crabtree and Craig Crabtree, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Kyle (Debra) Crabtree of Urbana, IL, Kendall and Kaleb Crabtree of Evansville; and great-grandchildren, Kolt and Kenton of Urbana, IL.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
