He was retired from Deaconess Hospital and served in WWII as a member of the United States Marine Corp.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, and 2 daughters.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Betty (Gentry) Busch; his children, Jackie (Steve) Ruhlman, Michael (Kristy) Busch, Jennifer (Bill) Feldpausch, Glenn (Billie) Busch, Bill (Laurel) Derr, Sue (Jerry) Barton, Rheta (Pat) Lyddane; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Oak Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Alan Scott with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 3-7 PM on Friday at Alexander West Chapel and Saturday 9-10 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church – Food Pantry.
