Robert attended Bible Center Cathedral. He had worked in maintenance at several businesses.
Robert is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda Blair; daughter, Tina O’Neil (Chad Bell) of Evansville; son, Robert Blair, Jr. (Julie) of Evansville; daughter, Tonya Blair (Herman Sapata) of Chicago, IL; daughter, Cynthia Blair (Rob Greenwell) of Princeton; stepdaughter, Brenda Deer of St. Phillips; stepson, Billy Merritt of Evansville; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles “Sonny” Blair of Blairsville; sister, Ruth Jewell (Don); and Sister, Janet Shepherd (Bruce) of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Rick Van Hoose with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
