Ricky "Rick" Dale File

Ricky “Rick” Dale File, 54, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Rick was born June 25, 1958, to Bob and Dolores File. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry File.

Rick had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed Nascar racing and collectibles, fishing, his dog, Tipper, and riding his motorcycle.

Rick and his wife, Pam, had just celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on February 15, 2013.

Rick is survived by his wife, Pam; son, Rick File II (Jennifer); brothers, Lanny (Paulette) File and Rob (Marti) File; sister, Beverly Spindler; nephew; Jeff File; nieces, Tammy Miller, Trina Barton, Angela Jacobs, Chastity Axton and Danielle Spindler; great-nephews, Jon-Paul File, Tayler File, Chris Gebert, Ryan Wheeler and Brad Wheeler; great-niece, Emma Grace Axton; and mother-in-law, Wanda Garner.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Stephen Rogers, with burial in Garrison Cemetery near Wayne City, IL. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
