Richard "Rick" P. Shierk Jr.

He was a talented artist who enjoyed woodworking, cooking, jewelry making, and painting. Rick was a wonderful girl-dad and Papa. He was a dedicated family man.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard Peter Shierk, Sr.; sister, Lisa Shierk; and bonus dad, Paul Anderson.

He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Anderson; daughters, Nicole Shierk, Erica Shierk-Valcarcel (AJ), Amanda Goff (Duncan),Chelsi Anderson, Kristina Blanksby and Heather Mills; grandchildren, Jett Valcarcel, Natalie Goff, Matthew Goff, Donnie Roach, Dervontae Roach, Aveion Johnson, Kendrick Anderson, Kyran Anderson, and Rick’s shadow, Azaiah Dulin; brothers, Ed Wolf (Diana), James Wolf, Jacob Wolf (Faye), Doug Wolf (Erin); sisters, Marilyn Trautvetter and Kelly Bartlett; nieces, Patty Robinson and Tera Hobgood; uncle, Wilson “Spike” Shierk (Sylvia); as well as several other nieces and nephews.

A family celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 27, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed beginning at 1:50 p.m. at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Following the service, family and friends will gather at Lyle’s Sportszone on Morgan Ave. from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
