She graduated from Princeton High School where she was a cheerleader and very active in her class activities. She married the love of her life, Marvin Kissel, in December 1956. Phyllis always worked in many physicians’ offices doing bookkeeping including Dr. Kreuger and Dr. Allen at the Heart Group. She was a master of many crafts including piano, organ, and singing. She was always active in her church community.
Phyllis loved traveling, photography, quilting, cooking, and the holidays. Her home was always a warm, inviting place of love for her family and friends. Phyllis’ smile and loving heart will be missed by so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and the love of her life, Marvin Kissel.
Phyllis is survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she treated as her children.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday October 10, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
