Pauline Ann Koch

Pauline Ann Koch, 88, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Good Samaritan Home. She was born to Conrad and Josephine Roth on September 12, 1922, in Evansville. Pauline graduated from Bosse High School in 1940 and was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ for over 65 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Norman Koch and step-grandson, Matthew. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Saponka; son, David Koch (Tammie); daughter, Judy Smith (Chuck); grandchildren, Tammy Gideon (Wayne), Bill Saponka, Matt Koch and Emily Smith; step-grandchildren, Tony Rhew, Amanda Pharr (Dustin), Nick Rhew and Caleb Rhew; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, with entombment at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan and Deaconess Hospice for their loving care of our mom.
