Michael was a skilled carpenter, as well as a certified welder. Michael loved to go fishing in his spare time, also loved being outdoors in the wilderness. Michael loved to spend time with his children, and his grandchildren. Michael loved to cook for family as often as he could. He loved UK men’s basketball, as you could hardly ever catch him without wearing something UK. Michael was a devoted Catholic, spending Sundays at church and reading his Bibles.
Survived by children, Megan Kingery, Ashly (Gary) Cardwell, Dalton Howard, Tanner Haward, DeLaine Bruce; siblings, Kathleen (Rod) Hyatt, Brian Kingery, William (Cindy) Kingery, Dakota Kingery and many nieces, and nephews, as well as two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Alexander Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, with service at noon. Michael will be laid to rest next to his father at Olive Brach Cemetery in Hanson KY, after the service.
Pallbearers will be William Kingery, Jake Brown, Andrew Williams, Dayton Kingery, Kathleen Hyatt, Cindy Kingery.
