Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Van Winkle after 48 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and raised six children, Bobby Van Winkle (Alva), Mark Van Winkle (Terry), David Van Winkle (Cindy), Greg Van Winkle (Mindy), Donna Harper and Nancy Reiter, which was the focus of her life.
Mary was a very sweet, kind, caring person who had a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her 16 grandchildren; Katrina, Jeremy, Kim, Amy, Daysha, Kari, Billy, Andy, Lynn, Lauren, Jacob, Dane, Tyler, Whitney, Logan, and Josh; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Bud Hales with burial at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel and on Saturday from 9:30 until service time.
