Mary Tindle

Mary E. Tindle, 92, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at River Pointe Health Campus. She was born Feburary 25, 1924, in Drakesboro, Kentucky to the late Dennis and Judia (Mitchell) Jackson.

She worked for H.A. Woods in Town Center Mall for 27 years and was a member of Centenary Methodist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Carl Tindle; sister, Mardell Southwood, and brothers, Woodrow and Dennis Jackson.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Bonnie) and Roger Tindle; daughter, Cathy (Bob) Carter; grandchildren, Tom (Sharon) Tindle, Andrea Tindle, Tammy (Doug) Brooks, Brent (Hannah) Carter and Todd (Tessa) Carter; 14 great-grandchildren; niece, Dionna (Michael) Garrison, and nephews, Darryl (Chris) Jackson, Don (Karen) Tindle, and Rick (Tianna) Tindle.

A Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, April 1, 2016, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 14340 Old State Road, officiated by Pastor Danny Walker. There will be a private burial.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at RiverPointe for the loving care of Mary over the past eight years. Thank you also to her friends at Centenary and Deaconess VNA Plus for their love and support.
