She was a member of Good Shepherd Assembly of God. She retired from Chrysler, working in the St. Louis Automotive Plant. During WWII she helped build LSTs in Evansville. She was a member of Chrysler UAW 136B Retirees Organization. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed letter writing.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Moss; daughter, Minnie Frances Stoutland; one sister and three brothers; and son-in-law, James Schaefer.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry Lou Schaefer; grandchildren, Pamela Bilinski, Michael F. (Jeanette) Head, Patricia Johnson, Diana (Tom) Hoehn, Thomas Schaefer, Stacy Powers and Cassandra Schaefer; great-grandchildren, Jakob Bilinski, Adam, Aaron and Sarah Head, Susan Vlahos, Simon and Samantha Hoehn, Kristin Schaefer and Spencer Powers; great-great-grandchildren, Sydney Ranes, Oliver Head and Zander Vlahos; brother, Sam Monzingo of Dallas, TX; nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Brother Glyn Pfohl, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
