Mary Faye Holland

Mary attended Glenwood Elementary School and Bosse High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, and especially her great-grandkids.

Mary was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Catherine M. “Dookie” McWhorter and Sandy Heath.

Mary is survived by her husband of 34 years, George B. Holland, Jr.; sons, George Holland IV and Michael Cotton; step-son, George Holland III; step-daughter, Anna Marie Holland; grandchildren, Kevin and Isaac Holland, Kristina, Jeffrey, Destiny and Kyle Hall, Camron and Casey Cotton; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Tina “Teenie” Shoptaugh, Linda “Lou” Miller and Wanda “Judy” Bittner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel and live-streamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA

Mary's funeral will be officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin with burial to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 and from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
