She grew up in Darmstadt where she lived most of her life. Marilyn and her husband Jerry loved boating, fishing, and being on the water at Kentucky Lake, Hilton Head Island, West Palm Beach, and Long Boat Key. She was a long time member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Marilyn was a member of Evansville Country Club and the 18 Hole Ladies Golf Association where she was proud of her hole in one on #9. She was an avid tennis player and runner completing many River Run Races and Race for the Cure events. Marilyn was a member of Tri Kappa Organization. Her greatest joy in life was providing a wonderful household for her family.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry A. Lamb, Sr.; and brother, Harley Seybold, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Miller (Fred), sons, Jerry Lamb (Debbie) and Scott Lamb (Barb); grandchildren, Sara Montigney (Troy), Lesa Rich (Nick), Kenny Lamb (Kelly), Andrew Lamb, Ashley Stark (TJ), Lauren Lernihan (Wade), Ashley Sanders (Nolan), Hannah France, Michael Miller (Meg), and Meredith Tye (Keith); 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Askins, Alice Keck (Don), and Jean McCoy (Ed); sister-in-law, Ginny Seybold; brother-in-law, Ralph Lamb (Linda); and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church officiated by Frs. Zach Etienne and Ted Tempel. Entombment will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
