Marilyn was a homemaker. She was a member of Forest Hills Wesleyan Church. Marilyn loved to travel, work crossword puzzles, and watch game shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen “Mick” DeShields; parents; brother, Clement A. Frank; and sister, Jeanette Carr.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Brenda Peak; granddaughter, Nickie Frye (Joe); great grandsons, Ethen Frye, Elliott Frye and Evrett Frye; nieces, Kathy Burkdoll, Debbie Kempf (Greg) and Pam Winnecke; nephews, Leonard Carr (Donna), Mark Carr (Sharon), and Clement Carr; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Tupman Cemetery.
