Marie Gooch

Marie Gooch, 91, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at her home in Evansville, IN. She was born October 15, 1921 in Taswell, IN. She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church where she was in the Mary Ruth Circle. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and two clabber clubs for over 50 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing, camping, baking, bowling, and sewing. Her great delights were the love of her life, Ray, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond F. Gooch; daughters, Janet R. Hatfield (Terry) of Evansville, Kathy M. Frey (Larry) of Highland, IL; son, David B. Gooch (Lisa) of Evansville; grandchildren, Laura R. Bradtmiller (Travis) of Evansville, Brady R. Gooch, Evansville, Sarah J. Hatfield, Almo, KY, Nick G. Hatfield, Seattle, WA, Jeff S. Hatfield, Evansville, Stephanie A. Hatfield, Evansville; great-grandchildren, Jayci, Kai & Piper Bradtmiller, Evansville; 16 nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, January 25, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dennis Adams, with burial at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home and from 10:00AM until service time on Friday.
