

Margaret Louise Keil, 88, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 following a sudden stroke. She was born on February 19, 1937 in Browder, Kentucky to the late Boyd and Opal (Cox) Sumner.
Magaret enjoyed trips to Florida with her family, bowling and playing cards. She especially loved babysitting her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward G. Keil; step-son, Michael Keil; sisters, Retta Bruce, Wanda Henderson, Shirley Gates and Ruby Galloway; and brother, Boyd Sumner, Jr.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Teresa Keil; son, Kenneth Keil (Jan); daughter, Kathy Ettensohn (Craig); grandchildren, Katelyn Ettensohn, Keil Ettensohn (Megan); daughter-in-law, Tina Keil; sister, Jonell Curtis; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Cliff Herring. Burial will be held at a later date in Alexander Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Alexander North Chapel.
