I worked with dear Margaret at Emge Realty and F.C. Tucker Emge. 
 She was such a joy to work with and so much fun.   I am saddened to see this.   My condolences and prayers to her close friends and family.

Margaret was a great Mother-in-law, sophisticated, kind, and caring.
Always enjoyed staying with her when we came to visit. The kids enjoyed baking and cooking with her.

I wish we could clone people like Margaret!
The most wonderful friend.  She taught me lots of things by being such an elegant and beautiful lady.  She could be so honest without sounding critical or judgemental.   I had to always be careful how I pronounced a word or used  it  in a sentence.  I think she was a reincarnated English teacher.
She shared with me over the 30 years  lots of things about her life and even admitted she wished we had known each other longer so we could enjoy partying.  There was  20 years difference in our age but we still could enjoy lunch at one of her favorite restaurants and with our Garden Club and Culture Club.  
She was such a good friend throughout my hardships and problems.  She was always there when Bill was sick and at the funeral she never left my side.  When my daughter first found out about her Cancer, Margaret was starting to have bad days of remembering, but she always called to check on Jennifer.  
I wish I had written down some of her funny little sayings but hopefully they will come back to me day by day.  I feel thanks to her  I met some wonderful people.  
My heart is missing a part of it by losing her but I know she is in heaven baking cakes.

I remember Margaret from the days on Charmwood Ct near Harrison.Chaos(the group)and later Chaos Foundation and the Steel Head Band used the downstairs for rehearsals.I was there multiple times those days and a classmate of Gary at Harrison as well.I remember her as kind and friendly.She was very tolerant of the "Chaos" that unfolded on a regular basis at her home.I wish this lady peace in the great beyond and send my condolences to Gary,Kymn and Andy.

I spent many enjoyable hours with Margaret viewing houses  in the late 90’s. During this time we became friends. She also made cakes, brownies and candy which she shared with me and my family.  Her desserts were not only delicious but beautifully prepared. I have missed her friendship since moving away. My condolences to her family.  Jacque Rinehart

I am so sorry to learn of Margaret’s passing..she was so good to me during my freshman year while dating Gary. I had to leave school sick one day and I went to their house. My mom wasn’t home, so she took me with her to the beauty shop until my mom was home. Just one of the sweet memories I have of her. Prayers to the Harp family.🙏🏻💕

My mother, Margaret Anne Harp, a/k/a Mags a/k/a G-Mags a/k/a Grandmaggie, was my guiding light. Growing up with her I became immersed in her values of social justice, giving, integrity, straight-talk, humor, and love of art and of others. She was smart, caring, and witty. She could cut to the chase - with a single phrase you knew what she meant.

She was always accepting, quick-witted, and never sought to impose her opinions on others (except when she would jokingly tell me: "If I want your opinion, I'll tell you what it is").

During the 13th Hour years, and before, and after, while Gary and I were in rock bands, she was always there, always supportive, and always accepting of the wide cast of characters who were our bandmates and friends. She would always listen. She was the cool mom who always saw the value in young people and let them know they were seen and heard by her.

Her musical tastes were  wide-ranging. Growing up, I remember her two absolute favorite singers were Barbra Streisand and Janis Joplin.  I would wake up late on Saturday mornings with her blasting one or the other on the stereo, while she sang along in the kitchen.

During the holidays, and year round, she was a gift-giver. She loved giving people gifts. She had a "gift closet" filled with gifts, already wrapped and labeled. If anyone showed up unexpectedly, and it was a holiday or birthday, or other occasion to be celebrated, she would surprise them with a gift-wrapped present.

Her homemade cakes and candy were legend. I remember one 4th of July party at the Standring's house on the river  when my mom had me take two cakes she had baked and decorated,  Jacque Standring excitedly told all our friends "We have two Margaret Harp cakes! You have to have some. They are incredible!" 

She loved to "read cookbooks". She loved dishes (having collected 13 sets of twelve, and loved to set her table with them.). 

And she loved  art. 

And she loved us: Gary, Andy, and Kymn

She taught us how to live.

So sorry to read of Margaret's passing.  Many fond memories of her in real estate offices and "The Bud and Blossom" Garden Club.  She was so delightful to be around.
