Lucy Ann Bolton

Lucy volunteered her time at Wesselman Woods Nature Center, Spencer County Council on Aging, and Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. She was also a member of the YWCA synchronized swimmers for over 40 years. Lucy enjoyed gardening and several outside activities.

She is survived by her son, James Howard Bolton III; daughter, Mary Susan Bolton; grandchildren, Tina (Jeremy) Crider, Sierra (John) Monsour, Jackie (Ryan) Hibbs, Justin Burlingame, Laura Beth (Owen Goin) Burlingame; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; Crystal Diane Burlingame; and nephew, Jed Wasson.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Bolton Jr.; son, Thomas Bolton; and sister, Frances Wasson.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation at Alexander West Chapel at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 10:30 am. The services will continue at Gentryville United Methodist Church and her final resting place will be next to her husband at Gentryville Garden of Memories.
