Louise Pickens

Louise was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God.

She retired from the trucking industry.

Louise was an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Pickens; daughter, Nancy McClane; granddaughter, Kelly Clark; brothers, Charles and Jack Syers.

Louise is survived by her son, Terry Pickens (Maria) of Evansville; grandson, Justin Terry Pickens; great grandchildren, Chayan Pickens, Abby Clark, and Cody Clark.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Kenneth McClane, with burial in Tower Heights Cemetery, West Frankfort, IL. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Deaconess Hospice and her caregivers, Karen Crowley, and Lisa and Diane.
