Linda Pride

She and her husband, Gary, owned and operated Mac’s Barbeque for many years. She attended Indiana University and transferred to Florida State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Linda was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She was a member of Tri Kappa and Junior League of Evansville. Linda attended Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed working in the restaurant business, working with outdoors with flowers, and reading.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Darrel Uhde.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary; daughter, Lisa Uhde; son, Brad Skelton (Angela); grandchildren, Amanda Rexing (Troy) and Phillip Salomon (Meagan); and great-grandchildren, Ivan Rexing, Walter Rexing, Eleanor Rexing, Corinne Salomon, Margaret Salomon, and one on the way.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Oak Hill Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Ryan Bradney officiating.
