Linda Sue Ward Bays

Linda took pride in her work cleaning for several businesses and private homes in the community. Though her passion in life was taking care of her home and family, she always gave encouragement to everyone she knew. She was a great wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by many people. Linda always kept her faith in the Lord, and contributed to many ministries.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Ward in 2005 and Burtie Ward in 2010; son, Christopher Bays in 2010; and father-in-law, Gene Bays in 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Bays of Henderson, KY; daughter Angie Bays; sisters, Sheila and (Charles) Jones of Midwest City, OK, Cathy and (Mike) West of Evansville, Cynthia and (Jeff) Paton of Kuna, ID and Janet Ward of Evansville; six brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law; mother-in-law, Mary Bays; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Everett Freels and Rev Cathy West, with entombment in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to any Old National Bank in Linda Bays Name.
