Linda Marie Allen

Linda Marie Allen, 73, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway surrounded by her caregivers and guardians. She was born on March 21, 1950, in Gibson County, Indiana to the late Norman and Marie (Fischer) Allen.

Linda graduated from North High School in 1972, where she participated in Special

Olympics. She was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and the Parish

House Sunday School. Linda faithfully worked at Arc of Evansville for 20 years. She was a client of

SIRS for 30 years.

She was also preceded by her infant brother.

Linda is survived by her husband, Tim Rusche; and her loving caregivers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Keegan Kaiser, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank SIRS, ARC of Evansville, New Horizons Church Fellowship of God, and the many caregivers she had.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
