Larry Wayne Remole Sr.

Larry Remole, Sr., 78, of Henderson, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Hospice Care Center. When he went through Heaven’s gates, he was greeted with Angels. He was born January 31, 1939 in Reed, KY to the late Allie L. and Pauline (Fenwick) Remole.

He was a proud US Marine. He was a railroader for 23 years, starting with L & N Railroad. Larry loved reading his bible more than anything. He enjoyed bass fishing with his son Wayne (always a “catch and release” fisherman). Larry was a family man and spending time with them was extremely important to him. He also enjoyed big cook outs, pool parties and BBQ’s with family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Remole; sisters, Carolyn Schickel (Harold) and Gloria Leon (Simon); children, Wayne Remole, Jr., Julie Anderson, Lisa Powell, Lori Cuellar (Javier) and Michael Mallard; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
