Kenneth Wayne “KW” Stevens, 82, of Evansville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 18, 1938 to the late Frank and Mamie Aline (Howe) Stevens.
As a teen, Ken learned the construction trade from his father. After his service as a lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division, he began his 60+ year career as the founder of Complete Residential Services. After his retirement, KW used his talents to give back to Habitat for Humanity and other mission projects. He was a lifetime member of Methodist Temple, a member of the Shriners and was a Mason. Ken was married to Wilma, whom he loved and adored for 43 years. In his downtime, he enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his greatest joy, his family. KW was an exceptional dad, brother, and friend!
KW was preceded in death by his daughter, Rene Murphy and brother, Larry Stevens.
He is survived by his children, Kathie Bartley (Roy), Gloria Falcone (Don), Betty Branham, Kenneth Stevens II, Stephanie Pruett (Ray); step-daughter, Samantha Goodwin (Mark); step-son, Brad House (Jeannie); 16 grandkids and 20 great-grandkids; and sisters, Helen “Jeane” Dodson and Deborah Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Pastor Pat Jackson. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Military Services will be conducted. Friends may visit on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Ken’s service will be livestreamed at 11:50 a.m. on Monday, November 16. 2020.
