Kathy S Brown

Kathy S. Brown, 54, of Evansville, IN passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born in Evansville, IN on September 1, 1968 to the late Charles Emery Ward and Dianna Sue (Wright) Watkins. She grew up in Evansville and attended Central High School. Kathy worked a number of years at the Esquire Inn. She loved animals. Kathy was a homemaker, and most proud to be a mother. Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter Ashley Brown. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, James “Jim” Brown; son, Donald R. Milburn; brothers, Michael Ward (Kelly), Charles Ward (Michelle); sister, Jessica Meyers (Jerry); father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Virginia Wolfe; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Sunday August 27, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Rd.
