Kathryn Gartner

Kate graduated from Bosse High School. She worked at Bucyrus Erie and

Daniel Wertz School. She also taught Sunday school at Howell United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Gartner; brothers, Bob and Jack Viets; and sisters, Lois Skaar, Joyce Mitchell, and infant sister, Helen.

Kate is survived by her sons, Steve (Jan) Gartner of Eastpoint, FL; Scott (Brenda) Gartner of Evansville, IN; daughter, Sally (Don) Morrison of Odessa, FL; grandchildren, AJ (Emily) Gartner, Adam Gartner, Ben Gartner, Kendra (Randy) Tatham, MacKenzie Gartner, Dan (Kim) Morrison, Jodi Johnson; four great grandchildren, Nathan and Lucie Morrison, and Aubrey and Xander Tatham.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at

Alexander West Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Howell United Methodist Church, 1408 Stinson Avenue, Evansville, IN 47712 or Kindred Hospice, 323 Metro Avenue, Evansville, IN 47715.
