Karen Sue Wigand

She graduated from F.J. Reitz High School in 1979 and attended Evansville Grace Church of the Nazarene where she was in charge of the card ministry. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family, but her grandson, Carter, was the light of her life. They loved dancing around the living room together.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ice; sister, Cindi Camp; and brother, David Ice.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Jerome Wigand; daughter, Sarah Heineman and fiancé, Nick Bosecker; step-son, Ben Wigand; grandson, Carter Bosecker; father, Bob Ice; sister, Sherry Demik; aunts, Vickie (Lincoln) Shields, Pat (Ice) Burris, Jan (Ice) Cross; special cousin and best friend, Cheryl Cooper; special great-niece, Alivia Camp; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Brett Doninger. Friends visited Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
